6 String Fender Bass
The Fender Bass VI is a rare electric 6-string bass guitar from 1974, known for its association with the “Beatles” instrument lineup. Despite some popularity in the early 1960s, it was never widely adopted, and production dwindled over time. This specific model, crafted in the mid-’70s, features an ash body, a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and a sunburst polyester finish. Its originality and well-preserved condition make it an exceptional find.
The instrument’s bound, block-neck, and unique pickups, along with the 30-inch scale length, contribute to its distinct and recognizable sound. While showing signs of typical play wear, it remains in excellent condition with original hardware. The Fender HSC case is included, adding to its overall value. This Bass VI’s rarity and historical significance as one of the last of its kind add an element of nostalgia and charm to its appeal.
